Ezio's story continues—
The official sequel to "Assassin's Creed II" is here.
Story: After his family was murdered, Ezio chose to fight as an Assassin in order to seek revenge. He grew to become known as a Master Assassin. Meanwhile, Rome was falling into a state of decline under the influence of Pope Rodrigo Borgia and his corrupt ruling class. Sensing the threat of the Borgia family's rule extending throughout Italy, Ezio decided to infiltrate Rome and organize an Assassin Order to fight. However, Rodrigo's son, Cesare, stood in Ezio's way. Ezio's battle was not over yet. The shadow of the Knights Templar looms even here...
I: Unique Characters
Ezio Auditore
Ezio, the second son of the Auditore family of Florence, chose the path of an Assassin to exact revenge after his family's downfall due to a conspiracy. A descendant of the legendary Assassin "Altair," Ezio has grown to become known as the "Master Assassin" and leads the Assassin Brotherhood.
Cesare Borgia
Son of Pope Rodrigo Borgia. A dignified, arrogant, fearless, and confident fighter and soldier, he stands before Ezio as the series' most powerful enemy.
Ezio Auditore
Cesare Borgia
II: The story is set in Rome, a city of lust and decadence. The story is set in early 16th-century Rome. Boasting one of the largest fields in the series, the Rome of that time is meticulously recreated down to the smallest detail. Various historical landmarks, such as the Colosseum and Castel Sant'Angelo, also appear. This adds excitement to the story of protagonist Ezio.
III: Rome Recapture/Reconstruction System Rome is controlled by the rival Borgia forces, and by capturing Borgia Towers in each area, you can recapture their territory. The economic system introduced in the previous game has been further improved, allowing players to rebuild recaptured areas as they wish. In this game, there are many different Rome reconstruction programs, and the demand for funds will be strong.
IV: New Skills, Weapons, and Tactics Combat is faster than in the previous game. A wider variety of actions are available, including enhanced combo techniques and horse attacks and actions. The introduction of the Execution Streak, which allows you to wipe out large numbers of enemies, makes combat more exhilarating than ever before.
In addition, weapon changes such as the implementation of the highly requested bowgun and improved concealed rifles will be added, and period-appropriate tactics such as cannons and flaming arrows will also be introduced in some missions.
V: New Features! Assassin's Guild, Assassin's Signal: In this game's new Assassin's Guild system, Master Assassin Ezio can recruit allies by rescuing civilians oppressed by the Borgia forces.
By completing missions, he gains experience and becomes a stronger, more reliable Assassin.
By using a "Signal" to summon an apprentice, allies can be used in attacks, but there are restrictions on their use, so timing is important.
VI: Comprehensive Online Multiplayer: Everyone on the Street is an Assassin! Fans worldwide have been waiting for online multiplayer, and it's finally here, bringing an unprecedented feast of player-to-player assassination. In multiplayer mode, up to eight players can participate, with each participant becoming a target and assassinating their own.
Enjoy a thrilling assassination spree as the roles of pursuer and fugitive rapidly change across the vast map.
As you pursue your target, you become the target of other players, and the tense battles will be so engrossing you'll lose track of time!
Game Modes: 2 Initially; Maps: 8+; Players: 6-8; Characters: Customize abilities based on over 14 professions.
