KATO N Gauge E235 Series Yamanote Line Basic Set, 4 Cars, 10-1468S, Model Train

This is JR East's E235 Yamanote Line Tou 03 train (belonging to the Tokyo General Rolling Stock Center), which began operation in May 2017. It accurately recreates the distinctive front end, AU737 air conditioner, pantograph, as well as roof and underfloor equipment. The delicate gradation of the Yamanote Line's green line color, which adorn the front and door sections, is accurately reproduced. A see-through driver's cab creates a more realistic interior feel for the front end. This set includes the E235-4600 series Saha car, which features a distinctive window arrangement and was repurposed from the E231 series 500. For repurposing, an antenna mount was added, and the air conditioner was updated to match the other E235 series cars. The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running. Head/tail lights, front display, and train number display illuminate (using white LEDs). The headlights appear white even when turned off. The front and side displays are printed with "0913G" and "Yamanote Line." Replacement front displays for "Shinagawa/Tokyo" and "Ikebukuro/Ueno" are included. All cars are printed with wheelchair and stroller symbols, and emergency door cock markings. Body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks) are used. DCC friendly.
