Product Introduction
The multi-legged transport vehicle "Hightrager" is a Hexa Gear developed and manufactured by Maxwell Gears using components from the masterpiece second-generation Hexa Gear "Scarecrow."
Specialized for transporting large containers and other cargo, it was designed primarily for use in vehicle mode, but it also possesses a pseudo-quadrupedal walking form for traversing rough terrain. While its "transformation mechanism and quadrupedal walking" characteristics often lead to confusion with third-generation vehicles, this vehicle's functionality is limited to a "static walking" mechanism for mechanically changing its posture, combined with a running mechanism. Its control system is the G2AI, the most common at the time, and therefore it is classified as second-generation.
Each mode is referred to as "flat mode," when the front and rear leg parts are connected horizontally by the armor, and "polypod mode," when the front and rear parts are disconnected and the multi-legged form is formed. While both modes are primarily intended for cargo transport, they can be selected and operated appropriately depending on the terrain. The leg frame's construction, designed to handle heavy loads and complex terrain, is more similar to that of heavy construction machinery. Its structural strength is stronger than that of standard combat Hexa Gears, and this characteristic is evident even in the individual units themselves.
Furthermore, sub-arms are installed in the front legs, and storage spaces are installed in the rear legs. These allow for disassembly and storage of weapons, ammunition, and tools for accompanying infantry and workers, or even a large-caliber anti-material rifle. The central driver's seat can be stowed away for use as an unmanned vehicle. This flexible design makes it widely used in military bases, industrial areas, and even among governors involved in inter-city logistics. Like other Hexa Gears, many variations have been created depending on the region where it is deployed and the governor piloted.

By replacing parts, the transport vehicle "Flat Mode" can be transformed into the multi-legged vehicle "Polypod Mode."
The cockpit can accommodate a separately sold governor, and the seat can be folded down for unmanned mode.
By switching the cockpit to unmanned mode, it is possible to attach the upper body or Steel Rain from the separately sold Bulkarm series to the upper part. By combining them, you can enjoy creating a multi-legged Bulkarm.
The armor on the front legs can be opened and closed, allowing the simple manipulator inside to be deployed.
