Product Introduction
This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the M4A1 Sherman, mid-model, equipped with a 75mm gun.
While various parts of the M4A1 changed over the course of its production run, this model recreates the mid-model appearance, which saw the standard M4 vertical suspension and driver's visor discontinued.
Containing approximately 400 parts, this kit accurately recreates the M4A1's rounded cast hull.
Etched parts are used for the engine grille and other parts.
Includes two versions of the main gun mantlet and air cleaner.
Includes one tank crew figure.
Includes four markings, representing the U.S. Army's Tunisian and Italian fronts.
The M4 Sherman was a masterpiece, the most widely produced tank of World War II.
The M4A1 was the first mass-produced model of the many 75mm-gun M4 Shermans produced. It was equipped with the same aircraft radial engine as the M4 and featured a cast upper hull.
The earliest M4A1s were equipped with the same suspension as the M3 medium tank and a direct-view visor in front of the driver's seat, but the suspension was upgraded and the visor was eliminated.
This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
