How to use High-Speed Sync (HSS) on Fujifilm cameras: To use HSS, enable the function as follows: MENU ＞ Flash Settings ＞ Flash Function Settings ＞ Sync ＞ AUTO FP (HSS). After setting, a small HSS icon will appear in the upper right corner of the flash screen, indicating that HSS is enabled. Please do not worry if the large HSS icon on the main screen remains grayed out and inoperable; this is normal. Also, please note that when HSS is enabled, the minimum flash output in manual mode will be 1/16 instead of 1/128.
