"Dokonjo Gaeru," a popular series from Weekly Shonen Jump and TV anime, is now available for PlayStation, thanks to a joint development between Bandai, the character game maker, and D3 Publishers, the SIMPLE series. This is the sixth installment in the "SIMPLE Character 2000" series, a budget-friendly series featuring popular characters.
A total of 12 expressive characters appear, including Pyonkichi, Hiroshi, Kyoko-chan, Goro, Gorilla Imo, Ume-san, Yoshiko-sensei, and Machida-sensei. In Story Mode, Hiroshi and Pyonkichi challenge Ume-san and his friends for sushi. In a pinch, they can use a cheating technique called the "Dokonjo System." A free-for-all mode is also available, allowing you to play mahjong against your favorite characters. (Koji Higuchi)
