Bend, stretch, and bend again... "Suzugami" tin plates.
This product, named "Suzugami," can be bent into any shape you like, just like paper. As its name suggests, this mysterious tin dish is as thin and flexible as paper.
A new sensation never before seen! The user shapes it themselves. That's the joy of "Suzugami."
By repeatedly hammering rolled tin plates, not only are patterns created, but the dish is also strong enough to withstand repeated bending.
Thanks to the skill of our metalworking artisans, this dish offers a whole new experience!
You can shape it to suit your needs.
Bend, roll, or slightly raise the corners. Enjoy the satisfying sensation of smooth bending.
Beautiful hammered patterns highlight the artisan's skill.
One of the charms of "Suzugami" is the beautiful hammered patterns.
Skilled metalworkers rhythmically hammer the tin sheets with hammers to create beautiful, luxurious hammered patterns.
Three different patterns are available, each representing a beautiful Japanese weather phenomenon.
・Kazahana (hammered pattern): The hammered pattern resembles the accumulation of falling snow on a cloudless, sunny day.
・Samidare (hammered pattern): The hammered pattern resembles the traces of long rains that fall in the fifth month of the lunar calendar.
・Hail (hammered pattern): The hammered pattern resembles the sound of falling ice particles striking the surface.
