The "US-S DAVOS" is a special order model created in collaboration between DAVOS and Mikashima Pedals. The "US-S DAVOS" is a two-hole cleat, double-sided binding pedal that is ideal for touring and gravel riding. The silver pedal body of the base model "US-S" has been changed to black with cathodic electrocoating. The cage mounting bolts have also been changed to black with a chromate finish, giving the overall design a more refined look. Accessories: Reinforced resin cage, cover, and complete set of cleats. Dimensions: W64 x L52 (with cover), W69 x L84 (with cage). Bearings: Sealed bearings and bushings. Weight: 433g (standard model, with cover). Tread: Double-sided. The new "Split Binding System" (patent pending) roughly halves the force required to step out while maintaining traditional locking power. It includes original MKS cleats, but is also compatible with SPD cleats (*2) (SM-SH51 recommended). Easy step-out, even when fatigued, makes it ideal for long-distance riding such as touring, long rides, and enduros. The wide contact area between the pedal and shoe and smooth rotation allow for stable and efficient pedaling. It also reduces knee strain, making it ideal for entry-level users and women.
