This kit includes etched parts for the KanColle NEXT series "Japanese Navy Battleship Musashi (pre-remodel)." The Yamato, a symbol of the Japanese Navy, was equipped with world-renowned 46cm guns. The second ship, Musashi, was built in August 1914. In October, Musashi led the battle against the Solomon Islands, which was still under development at the time. On the night of loading, the first and second ships, Yamato and Musashi, stood proudly side by side, and in June 1915, they became flagships of the Federal Fleet, lowering the Shogun's flag. Later, to strengthen their aircraft protection, secondary guns matching the fenders were lowered, and they participated in the Battle of the Philippine Sea and the Battle of the Late Autumn Sea. The kit features a snap-fit design that requires no adhesive. Key features are reproduced with color-coded plastic parts, with some color-matched sections reproduced with realistic stickers for excellent surface conformity. Assembly is all-in-one, and parts can be separated at the waterline to recreate both offshore and full-hull versions. The kit is designed to recreate two different seasons. The Cambridge top is molded in white to represent the region, representing the ship's appearance before the No. 21 radar was installed (August to September 2017) and after the No. 21 radar was installed, when it sortied with Yamato at Truk Island, and when it became the flagship of the Federal Fleet under Emperor Seishigyo (September 2017 to April 2019). The wooden deck parts are molded in beige, unlike the black color used during initial deployment. The included stickers feature the Emperor's flag and the Admiral's flag, allowing you to recreate the appearance of Emperor Showara No. 1 Koga and Koga. Etched parts, which are difficult to reproduce with injection parts, are included, allowing for detailed expression. Etched parts include handrails, No. 21 radar, ladders, and more. This product is manufactured in Japan. This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
