In addition to lithium batteries, it can now be used with AA alkaline batteries. The military model features a white C4 Super LED, as well as infrared, red, and blue LEDs. Each LED has four levels of dimming and flashing functionality, allowing for a total of 20 lighting modes. To prevent false color signals, pull the selector ring to unlock and set the LED color. By holding down the center push switch, the military model cycles through the following brightness levels: minimum, low, medium, and high. The military model's dimming function starts at minimum, preventing glare in the dark and allowing for minimal light signaling. Double-clicking activates flashing (100%) mode. The infrared LED (880nm wavelength) is intended for use with night scopes and is not visible to the naked eye.
