Moomin is known as children's literature, but one of its characteristics is that it has many fans, not just among children, but of all ages, genders, and nationalities.

Born in Helsinki, Finland on August 9, 1914. The first book in the Moomin series, "The Little Troll and the Big Flood," was published in 1945, and nine books in the series were written over the next 26 years.
In 1954, the comic strip "Moomintroll" began to be serialized in the British newspaper "The Evening News." At its peak, it was reprinted in 120 newspapers in 40 countries and enjoyed widespread popularity.
Tove wrote for six years, and her brother Lars took over for the remaining 15 years. Tove produced not only the Moomin series, but also picture books, novels for adults, and illustrations, and has received many awards, including the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
Tove passed away on June 27, 2001, at the age of 86. Although she remained single her whole life, she was always surrounded by her family and good friends.
Some of his lovers, family members, and friends served as models for the characters in the Moomin stories.
