Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.
Chinoiserie Modern has traditionally expressed the brand's worldview through completely original designs and full-body embroidery. This parasol uses "cutwork embroidery," which can be said to be the pinnacle of embroidery. This "organdy cutwork embroidery" is not the traditional simple one-point or hem embroidery (= Scala embroidery), but rather full-body cutwork embroidery that spreads across the entire umbrella fabric.
This design was created in collaboration with Kimura Hideki (Kiyan), a leading Kyoto painter. His unique and bold paintings, which are found in famous temples and other locations, have earned him many fans. Two of Keyan's designs, "Lotus Flower," his signature work, and "Peony & Wisteria," a first-ever combination, are boldly embroidered on the parasol with organza cutwork. This is a parasol with a strong presence.
・Even with the bold embroidery, the special double-layered "frog-like" construction provides complete shading, UV protection of 99.9% and above, UPF 50+, and a heat-blocking index of 58, making it the ultimate in heat-blocking performance.

A one-of-a-kind, beautifully embroidered organza parasol, created in collaboration with Kyoto rock muralist Keyan.
A premium "actress parasol" that looks like a work of art
Keyan's signature designs, "lotus flower" and "peony and wisteria flower", are expressed using a combination of all-over embroidery (cutwork embroidery) and organza.
Organza embroidery is much more time-consuming than conventional full-body embroidery, as the outer fabric and organza are embroidered together, then the outer fabric is cut out and embroidered again on the organza. Compared to embroidery alone, it has a more airy feel and nuanced beauty. Even with full-body embroidery, a special double-layered manufacturing method (known as "kawara-bari") has been used to achieve complete light blocking and high heat insulation, resulting in heat dissipation.
◆It also protects against glare from sunlight reflected from the ground, with a black urethane coating.
◆The organza used also boasts water-repellent properties of grade 4 and is highly water-resistant, so it can withstand sudden rain.
