Diatomaceous earth is perforated with countless tiny holes, making it extremely light and capable of absorbing large amounts of water. Its self-breathing properties also allow it to naturally release water vapor once a certain amount of absorbed moisture has been absorbed.
You can maintain a dry surface without the need for tedious draining.
Even if you use it for a long time, you can restore its absorbency by lightly sanding the surface with commercially available sandpaper (approximately 400 grit).
Includes a draining pocket for spoons and chopsticks.
Dividers allow you to store and dry items separately for efficient use.
Caution: Diatomaceous earth trays are fragile. Dropping or bumping them may cause them to break. Handle with care.
When using the tray for the first time, you may notice a pleasant odor; this is due to the diatomaceous earth's natural ingredients and is not a problem. The odor will fade over time.
For best results, dry the product in the shade once or twice a week.
