The DD-120 "Shiranui" is the second "Asahi"-class destroyer, developed based on the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's "Akizuki"-class destroyer. It is a state-of-the-art general-purpose destroyer that was commissioned on February 27, 2019.
As a next-generation destroyer with enhanced anti-submarine capabilities while balancing anti-aircraft, anti-ship, and anti-submarine capabilities, it will play a central role in the escort fleet alongside the "Akizuki"-class.
Available as either a surface or full-hull model.
