Product Introduction
NGK Spark Plugs offers superior-performance ignition coils, leveraging its advanced ignition system technology and strict quality standards cultivated over its long history.
In internal combustion engines using spark plugs, a high voltage of 20,000 to 35,000V is required to generate a discharge in the combustion chamber during the compression stroke.
An ignition coil is a type of transformer that converts 12V battery voltage into the high voltage required for spark plug discharge.
An ignition coil basically consists of a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a core, with an epoxy resin case to ensure insulation between these components.
If a malfunction is discovered in one cylinder, the ignition coils in the other cylinders may also deteriorate and may fail sooner. Therefore, we recommend replacing all cylinders.
