A world of feminine beauty pursued by a leading artist. This is Kokuryo Tsuneo's first large-format collection of nude artwork.

He is renowned as a sand landscape painter, but his nude paintings are also highly acclaimed.

He initially experimented with pointillism, but in the 1960s he began painting sandy landscapes, changing both his technique and his motifs. Since then, he has painted numerous works themed around "sandscapes," featuring motifs such as groups of figures, sand dunes, wind patterns, the sea, boats, and birds, and this theme has become a central theme in his oeuvre.
