About the Z Shorty Z Shorty trains can turn on R45 curves, the smallest radius curves available on Z gauge rails! The smallest oval course is just 11cm long and 16cm wide, allowing you to run trains anywhere in your neighborhood! The length of the train is about half that of a Z gauge train. Despite being a deformed model, the attention to detail remains the same! This product includes a dummy chassis. While this product is a display model, by adding a separately sold powered chassis or trailer chassis, it can run on the same rails as regular Z gauge trains!

This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are required for running, lighting, or illumination. This product does not include batteries. This product does not require fuel. This product does not include paint. The Z Shorty series now includes the 0 Series Shinkansen, a train popular with adults and children alike. The 0 Series Shinkansen was Japan National Railways' first commercial Shinkansen train, introduced in 1964. This product is modeled after the "West Hikari" train. By attaching the separately sold SA002-1 Powered Chassis (Shinkansen Type) and two SA004-1 Trailer Chassis (Shinkansen Type), you can run this train on Z gauge rails! The pantograph, made with etched parts, can be raised and lowered for authentic specifications. The front of the lead car can be removed and connected.
