Since its launch in 1983, G-SHOCK, the tough watch, has continued to evolve in pursuit of unrelenting strength. The G-STEEL GST-B400 boasts a slimmer, more stylish design thanks to its thin module and Carbon Core Guard structure. The components have been further miniaturized and the module has been made thinner. While maintaining its thickness, it maintains its high functionality with Bluetooth® and solar power, and significantly reduces power consumption. Additionally, the Carbon Core Guard structure makes it the thinnest watch in the G-STEEL series (as of March 2021) while maintaining its shock resistance. At 12.9mm from the back to the top of the bezel, it's more than 1mm thinner than the GST-B100. In terms of design, button guards have been minimized to allow for large, easy-to-press stainless steel buttons, while the watch is slim. Different finishes on the top and middle bezels allow for a contrasting texture, resulting in a visually appealing finish. Color variations include the two standard models—the GST-B400 with a resin band and silver case, and the all-silver GST-B400D—as well as the GST-B400AD, which combines a red vapor-deposited dial, G-SHOCK's signature color, with a black ion-plated bezel, and the GST-B400BD, which features a black ion-plated case and band and a blue vapor-deposited dial. The power-saving module has enhanced the texture with three-dimensional parts and a vapor-deposited dial.
