Since its launch in 1983, G-SHOCK has pursued toughness and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023 with the limited edition "G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK" series. Inspired by milestones and stone monuments, the names of past models from the past 40 years are engraved on the band, which is finished in all black. The bands of each model are hot-stamped with the names of past models, marking evolutions in technology, structure, and materials, and the distinctive star mark is engraved on the glass, making this a special model commemorating the 40th anniversary. The bezels and bands of all models are made of biomass plastic.
