Product Description
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Ausf. B, the first fully mass-produced Sturmgeschütz III.
Length: 157mm. Photo-etched parts are used for the rear air intake and headlight covers, enhancing the flat form. Equipment such as the front hook and horn also have a sharp finish.
The 7.5cm gun barrel is made of turned aluminum. The barrel features spiral rifling, which imparts rotation to the fired shell to stabilize its trajectory.
The suspension of the first and sixth road wheels is spring-mounted, while the other road wheels are freely movable, allowing you to recreate the position of the road wheels to match the terrain of your scene.
The interior, including the floor of the fighting compartment visible through the open hatch, the main gun loading compartment and sights, radio and crew seats, and the shell cases and grenade racks on the bulkhead between the engine bay and the tank, are meticulously recreated.
Four types of markings are included, including one for the 226th Sturmgeschütz Battalion on the Russian front. This is the first 1/35 scale model kit to feature color painting instructions.
