The Mazda Roadster, introduced in 1989, became a global hit compact sports car.
The fourth-generation Roadster, released in 2015, pursues the ultimate form of a lightweight open-top sports car based on the "Kodo" design concept, featuring a compact, dynamic, low trapezoidal form.
While the engine displacement has been downsized from 2.0 liters in the previous model to 1.5 liters, further weight reduction has been achieved through increased use of aluminum and high-tensile steel. Combined with numerous advanced safety features to support driving, this car delivers a more comfortable and safer ride.
Praised for its beautiful, attractive form and enjoyable driving experience, this fourth-generation Roadster joins the 1/24 sports car series.
[Model Specifications]
●This plastic model assembly kit recreates the Mazda Roadster known as the ND model, released in 2015.
●1/24 scale, 164mm long, 80mm wide.
●The low, wide, and dynamic form of the actual vehicle is faithfully reproduced.
●The side windows and top can be folded to recreate the fully open state.
●The suspension and interior are also realistically detailed. The distinctive powerplant frame is made from separate parts.
●Mazda emblem and door mirror surfaces use metal transfer marks.
●Front and rear lamp reflectors, interior air vents, dials, and shift lever base are plated parts.
●Can be assembled with either right-hand drive or left-hand drive.
●Two speedometer options are available with decals: one displaying km and one displaying km/mile, compatible with export-spec vehicles.
●The first female driver figure in the series is also included.
