For Ambo's Hinamatsuri tenugui, we have come up with a design with an unprecedented twist. The design is conscious of the cuteness of Gothic and Lolita. The pattern on the male doll's kimono is in the shape of the diamond-shaped rice cake that is a Hinamatsuri tradition. The classical pattern on the central obi and flower stamens add density, and the outlines and motifs of the dolls are clearly shown in black, while peach blossoms scattered all over create a cute look. The modern atmosphere suits both Western and Japanese rooms, and blends seamlessly into any room as interior décor.
This is a Tokuoka fabric made in Japan using high-quality Chita cotton.
Like traditional tenugui towels, both ends are left uncut.
It can be enjoyed as interior décor by hanging it on a hanging rod or in a frame. It is also suitable as a kendo towel as it is 100cm long.
