【Cautions for using electrical products】
When using electrical appliances, please note that the voltage is different from that of Japan, which may cause malfunctions.
Since the plug type is Japan type(A or B type), please check the voltage and use a transformer.
Please note that a transformer is different from a conversion adapter.
We are not responsible for malfunctions caused by use without a transformer.
【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】

Yagisei's Bingata Artist Tenugui Series
100% cotton, made in Japan
Size: Approximately 34x90cm (two short sides uncut)
"Southern Flowers (Blue)" is one of the popular Bingata Artist Series. This striking piece depicts blossoming flowers under the clear Okinawan sky. Chū-sen dyeing is a fabric dyeing technique in which a bank of glue is created in the desired area and dye is poured into it. Despite being done by hand, it is capable of producing a variety of patterns, subtle touches such as small patterns, and unique colors. Furthermore, by utilizing techniques such as shading, it excels at expressing three-dimensionality and a sense of calm. Chū-sen dyeing is unique in that the same pattern and color appear on both sides because it is dyed from both sides. Because fabrics dyed with Chū-sen dyeing are mostly done by hand, the fibers are less likely to be crushed, they are highly breathable, and they are soft to the touch. [Bingata Artist Series] We have invited artists of Bingata, a traditional Okinawan (Ryukyu) dyeing style, to provide designs, and we plan and sell tenugui hand towels dyed using the Chū-sen dyeing technique. "Ryukyu Bingata" is the only dyed fabric that was born and raised in Okinawa, and is characterized by its vibrant colors that use pigments and stand out under the strong Okinawan sun. Yagisei's Bingata style tenugui series features works designed by Bingata artists using the Okinawan "Bingata dyeing" motif.
This is an original tenugui hand towel made using the chusen dyeing technique. The intricate design is difficult to reproduce using regular chusen dyeing, but we asked artisans with expert chusen dyeing skills to dye it for us, resulting in a one-of-a-kind multicolored finish. In addition to being a tenugui, you can also enjoy it as a tapestry or table runner to add to your interior decor.
