This minimizes color imbalance and reduces the occurrence of ghosting and flare, which can degrade image quality. You can achieve high-quality images comparable to those shot without a filter.
[High-precision flat polishing with less than one interference fringe] High-quality optical glass is polished to a flat surface with high precision, and to maintain that flatness, it is mounted on the filter frame using Nikon's proprietary mounting technology, the Flat Plane System. This minimizes the occurrence of factors that adversely affect optical performance.
[Effective anti-static coating] A new anti-static coating has been applied to the front of the filter, making it less likely to pick up static electricity and reducing the adhesion of dust and debris to the filter.
[Excellent water- and oil-repellent coating] The water- and oil-repellent coating makes it difficult for dirt to adhere even in harsh shooting environments, and even if it does get dirty, it can be easily wiped off. Even when shooting with an ultra-high-resolution camera, the image quality is hardly affected, so you can use it with confidence in a variety of shooting situations.
