Apply Nix Ultra® Shampoo to scalp and remove moisture throughout hair. Apply to hair, making sure to work on hair close to scalp. Cover behind ears and back of neck thoroughly. Leave Nix Ultra® Shampoo in hair for 10 minutes. Nix Ultra® Shampoo is safe and non-toxic, but avoid contact with eyes. Protect eyes with a wet tissue or towel. Step 2 - Rinse ShampooRub hair with water to create a lather. Rinse lather with lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly until all shampoo is rinsed out. Towel dry hair. No need to rewash hair with regular shampoo. Note: For long, curly, or easily tangled hair, it may be a good idea to rinse the shampoo out and use conditioner or use a brush or wide-toothed comb to detangle hair before using the comb in Step 3. Wash the brush or wide-toothed comb after use to remove lice. Step 3 - Comb Hair into Hair Use the Nix® Lice Comb (included) to remove acai and lice. Divide hair into four sections. Comb one section at a time. Start at the crown. Lift 1-2 inches of hair. Comb the comb as close to the scalp as possible, combing vigorously and evenly from scalp to ends. Use clips to secure each section of hair back into place. Keep hair damp while combing. Blot hair with a tissue between uses. Dispose of the tissue in a sealable plastic bag. After combing, check the entire head again for lice and ash. Seal and discard the nipple and the plastic bag containing the lice. Check the hair after 7 days and reuse if lice are present.
