Mount adapter with focal reducer lens for mounting on Sony NEX/α.E mount camera body
The focal reducer lens structure of LensTurbo2 is optimized for the APS-C size image sensor of Sony NEX/α.E mount series, so there is less degradation of image quality in the periphery compared to the original LensTurbo. When attached to a camera with an APS-C size sensor, you can shoot with the original angle of view (full size). The reducer lens has high light collection efficiency, so the F value becomes one stop brighter.
When used with a 50mm lens: 50mm*1.5 (APS-C focal ratio) *0.726 (LensTurbo focal ratio) = 55mm equivalent angle of view. When used with a 35mm lens: 35mm*1.5 (APS-C focal ratio) *0.726 (LensTurbo focal ratio) = 38mm equivalent angle of view.
