Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956 (Showa 31) by Matsutaro Tajima as a glass tableware manufacturing factory in Koto-ku, Tokyo. In 1962 (Showa 37), the company established its own factory in Matsue, Edogawa Ward, and began making commercial tumblers, wine glasses, and other items.
