The depth of space they offer is extraordinary!!! The asymmetrical housing of this three-way loudspeaker was designed by the renowned NOVAGUEDESIGN studio. It is made of MDF boards in a multi-layer construction, consisting of three layers of wood fibers, which provides much greater stiffness. It is equipped with a unique active resonance damping system - BDS (Balls Damping System - channels milled in the housing filled with steel shot). The housing is additionally reinforced with several cross joints and a solid front panel, milled from solid MDF board in the shape of a wave. The high-frequency section is handled by a Scan-Speak loudspeaker - a 1-inch Illuminator enclosed in a separate chamber.. Optimum directional properties are guaranteed by the aluminum tweeter cone.. The Illuminator has a maximally smooth sound frequency response up to 45 kHz. A center speaker in which the magnetic field is generated by a neodymium magnet.. The sophisticated Illuminator diaphragm, with protrusions that suppress standing waves, is suspended on a linear rubber hinge.. The appropriate bass is provided by a 10-inch Revelator series speaker with very low distortion and a classic paper membrane filled with carbon fiber. The key to achieving an extremely flat phase response is the wave-shaped front of the enclosure. Thanks to this design, the loudspeaker's acoustic axis is directed directly at the seated listener.
