The OHA 50 series 51 type (nicknamed Red Train), the last general passenger car of JNR, has been commercialized as a prototype from the JNR era.
The TR230A bogie is also newly installed, including the small double-paned window to prevent drafts, which is the biggest feature of the 51 type that is suitable for cold regions. All the differences from the 50 series are reproduced, such as the Erigo spring with a rubber coating on the pillow spring, the single push brake, and the gear type axle generator.
In addition, the Ohafu's water tank covered with a steel plate cover to prevent freezing and the different facial expressions on the wife's face are also reproduced as features of Type 51.
Consists of a 5-car train of reasonable length and individual products. It is possible to reproduce various operations from short formations of single items to long formations of sets + single items.
Ohafu 51 has taillights on both ends (with a light off switch). In addition, the inspection notation that stands out at the knitting end is printed on both ends.
(However, Ohafu, which is in the middle of a 5-car set, is omitted)
In addition to the gray H rubber that accents the all-red car body, the silver door rails and shoe slits are also printed.
