Voigtlander NOKTON 35mm Aspherical F0.9 X-mount

NOKTON 35mm F0.9 Aspherical X mount is an interchangeable lens exclusively for Fujifilm X mount. This is a large-diameter manual focus standard lens that covers the image circle of APS-C size, and has an angle of view equivalent to 50mm in full-frame equivalent. The optical design is optimized for Fujifilm X system camera image sensors. This lens is equipped with electronic contacts to achieve highly reliable electrical communication between the lens and the body. The combination of a telecommunications-compatible body and the latest firmware enables Exif information, focus check, and shooting distance linked display, as well as in-body image stabilization and parallax correction for certain models. When attached to a model that does not support electrical contacts, you can enable aperture-priority auto shooting by setting the camera settings to allow release without a lens. This is an ultra-large aperture standard lens that achieves the brightest F0.9 as an interchangeable lens for Voigtlander's X mount. It features a condensed styling that maintains a sharp focal plane even when the aperture is wide open, while keeping the total length to 64.9mm (from the tip to the mount surface) for ease of handling. In order to satisfy the design goals of both lens performance and handling during shooting, we use an in-house manufactured GA (ground aspherical) lens for the first lens surface. The lens configuration is 10 elements in 8 groups, including GA lenses and double-sided aspherical lenses. Although it has an ultra-large aperture of F0.9, it supports a minimum aperture of up to F22. The aperture blades are made up of 12 blades that take into consideration the shape of the bokeh, and have 1/3 step clicks. The aperture mechanism uses a mechanism in which the aperture ring is directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades, similar to Voigtlander's VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses. You can enjoy the pleasant feeling of manual focusing as the lens is extended inside the all-metal barrel, as well as the sensation of directly operating the mechanism when opening and closing the aperture. This lens comes with a special metal hood that can be mounted in reverse.
