Product introduction

[Fusion of racing mechanism and unique form] Ducati's superbike that debuted at the 2011 Milan show is the 1199 Panigale. Instead of Ducati's signature steel tube truss frame, it uses a new aluminum monocoque frame with a structure similar to the MotoGP racer Desmosedici GP11, and is equipped with a 1198cc liquid-cooled L-twin engine that produces 195 horsepower, the strongest in its class. What's more, the engine is used as the frame's structural material, and the monocoque frame, which also serves as an air box, and the cantilever swing arm are directly attached to it, achieving high rigidity and light weight. The technology cultivated through racing has been poured into this product. Another feature is that it incorporates electronic control mechanisms in every part, from the engine output characteristics to the suspension. Furthermore, its unique form, which is so slim that you wouldn't think it's a liter bike, has won numerous design awards. It has become a big attraction along with its driving performance.

[Model details] ●Total length 173mm. ●Reproduce the Italian home specifications. -You can understand while assembling the unique car body configuration, which attaches a monocoque frame, swing arm, damper unit, etc. to the L-twin engine that serves as the skeleton. -The front cowl that creates a unique expression and the sharply shaped seat cowl are also the same as the actual car. -The side cowl is attached with tiny screws and can be removed even after completion. ●The damper spring that accents the left side is made of metal. ●The tires are precisely engraved with a distinctive tread pattern. ●An inlet mark is provided on the mirror surface. ●The side stand is foldable. A racing stand is also included.
