The optical design of the EF-S55-250mm F4-5.6 IS is the same, but the design has been improved to give it a more luxurious feel. Equipped with IMAGE STABILIZER, which covers a telephoto range equivalent to 88-400mm in 35mm format and has an image stabilization effect of up to about 4 stops in terms of shutter speed. This is a lightweight and compact telephoto zoom lens that can be used safely for night shots, telephoto snapshots, and even indoors with insufficient light. The lens automatically distinguishes between normal shooting and panning shots and applies appropriate image stabilization, so you won't miss a moment's photo opportunity.

UD lens Ideal chromatic aberration correction with more lenses. UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) lenses were developed based on this theme. It is an optical material with low refraction and low dispersion properties that is highly effective in removing secondary spectra.It has anomalous dispersion characteristics similar to fluorite, and two pieces of fluorite have the same performance as a single piece of fluorite.
