About the artist

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1997 (Heisei 9), 15-year-old female high school drummer living in Mie Prefecture. He started playing the drums at the age of 5, and has been studying with Kozo Suganuma, also known as ``Tekazuo'' since he was 8 years old.

In 2007, he won the runner-up prize at the 10th Drum Magazine Contest (sponsored by "Rhythm & Drum Magazine"). In 2009, he released the DVD ``HOROSCOPE'' which included a session with the fusion band FRAGILE. Although he was still in elementary school at the time, he was praised as ``already able to express his supple sensibilities.''

Drum performance videos on the video site YouTube, which began publishing in June of that year, attracted attention from all over the world. The total number of views has exceeded 22 million times (as of November 2012).

It is also popular in China through internet videos. In the summer of 2011, he accompanied Akira Jimbo on his tour of China, and in August 2012, he accompanied Kozo Suganuma on his tour of China.

He is also one of two Japanese people selected as one of the world's top 500 drummers by the global drum-related site ``Drummer World.''

In 2013, the long-awaited 1st album "A LA MODE" will be released. It is characterized by its powerful and groovy rhythms that come out of its slender body and its versatile play of moves. It is called ``Teka Hime'' and ``Gap Moe.''

Currently, he is active in a variety of activities such as session work and demonstrations while balancing his studies and performances!
