Product introduction
This is the second major album by Ana Moura, a female singer representing the fado scene after Queen Amalia Rodriguez's death, and her sixth album in total. As with the previous film, Larry Klein, who has worked on Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman, is in charge of production. Songs of various styles by composers representing current Portugal are recorded, from danceable fado incorporating plenty of percussion, arrangements reminiscent of Brazilian music, and even forky ballads, to the fullest. Famous Cuban female singer Omara Portuondo participated as a guest. (C) RS
