One day when I was active in Salvador, the capital of Bahia, I was discovered by Sebastian Nocini, a percussionist from Sweden known as the producer of Chigana Santana's “Tempo and Magma,” and what was produced under his full backup was “Sonoridade Polvola,” which was his debut work.

Based on a singing voice that is natural and exudes a dark sense of sex appeal, and Ian's playful narration, which is easy and exudes pale emotion, you can effectively listen to simple yet resonant performances of guitar/bass/percussion, as well as smooth and floating electric guitars, cello/flute/clarinet, etc. Both the arrangement and performance, which sometimes include Afro-Brazilian spices, are wonderful, and it will inevitably become a hot topic in the Brazilian music scene in 2017.
