Remove the game platform and pieces from the box. Place the platform on flat ground in the middle of the players. Determine colors by drawing lots. The player with the black piece starts the game.
How to play?
Go is a game in which players take turns placing their pieces on the platform where the lines intersect and try to capture the opponent's pieces by covering them with their own pieces.. The aim of the game is to dominate the largest area. Players capture that stone or group of stones by covering their opponent's stones with their own stones and leaving no empty intersection points around them.. Captured pieces are removed from the game platform and cannot be used again. When one of the players puts a stone in that empty space and captures the opponent's stuck stone (There will be a gap in the middle again) The player whose turn it is to play cannot place a stone in that space.. He must make a move elsewhere.. At the end of the game, each player determines the remaining intersection points within each of the areas he has completely surrounded. (1 point each), prisoners trapped in this area (1 point each) and from the stones he captured and collected during the game (1 point each) calculates the points obtained. In addition, in order to avoid injustice because Black started the game first, the white side is given 6.5 points at the end of the game.. The winner of the game is determined by adding up the points obtained in this way.
Attention
• Players can place their pieces anywhere on the platform from the first moment, but they cannot place them where the opponent surrounds them and has only a single intersection point.. However, stones can be left in the area surrounded by the opponent and which has more than one intersection point. The strategy you will use here is important.
• Players' pieces are connected to each other in line with horizontal and vertical lines, it is not possible with cross ties.
• Since the side that starts the game first is the owner of the black stone, 6.5 points are given to the white side at the end of the game.
• Breathing area is the horizontal and vertical lines of the stone or stones.. Breathing space cannot be created diagonally.
• If the opponent surrounds one of your pieces with only one breathing space left, you must move to that area to save that piece or pieces.
