A surprisingly nice fountain pen for the price! It's dark green plastic body is sturdy, it's metal cap is strong and the EF nib writes exceptionally well! What makes this pen standout against similar models is the gold caps on both the top of the cap and the bottom of the barrel. These golden embellishments were what sold me at first sight, as they provide more personality & transform an ordinary design into a spectacular one! And this pen certainly took me by surprise with it's smooth writing style... the cap doesn't lie with it's statement of "FINE LINE" boldly printed on its backside. In very faint etching under this print, barely visible to the eye, is the model number: 32D, and then "Made in China" along with some Chinese script I cannot read. All-in-all, this fountain pen really is a great writing instrument with a vintage charm that is very appealing in person. I don't think pictures do it proper justice either, because once you have it in your hands you recognize it's true potential. The only issue I've had with this pen is that while I was writing with it, I may have moved too vigorously & too quickly because some ink dripped out and blotched my paper, however it wasn't a large amount of ink and it just means I'll have to be a little more thoughtful of my movements with this pen. Also, the ink converter inside the pen follows the overall vintage theme with a push converter; it worked reasonably well but I will say it's not the highest quality push converter on the market and it's made of plastic rather than the traditional metal. But for the price, that's to be expected and you can always take the converter out & replace it with a modern one, or use a universal ink cartridge if you prefer. Despite these miniscule flaws, I think this fountain pen has class, charm and grace while writing, so to add it to your collection would be wise! Having a vintage model allows one to appreciate the history of fountain pens, and that's why I felt such great pleasure while working with this pen!
