WATERMELON SUGAR BABY 1g - TORAF A thermophilic plant, with green skin and red, very tasty, juicy, sweet aromatic flesh. It contains a lot of vitamin C, carotenoids, folic acid and lycopene. It works best under cover. It requires permeable soil that heats up well. Sowing seeds in a heated tunnel or field from February to April. Plant the seedlings in May/June. The substrate temperature during germination must be 20-25oC. Watermelons are grown from seedlings prepared in heated rooms. A good time for this would be the end of winter/beginning of spring. Watermelon seeds are sown in production or peat pots.
