The shoe construction is interesting - durable where it should be durable (rubber), and breathable in other places. The shape is soft, does not chafe. I suspect they are designed to get wet quickly in the rain or in a puddle, and dry just as quickly. But there hasn't been an opportunity to check yet. The sole is soft, with a large tread. Maybe a bit thin: pebbles on the asphalt can be felt; after an hour of brisk walking on asphalt, the feet "hummed" from the impacts, but this may depend on the gait.
