I took both 0.7 and 0.9. Someone started saying that they were too small.... My daughter is 3 and 0.7, they are a little too tall for her (we just wore them to see how they fit). I have pierced ears and 0.9 fit right where the piercing was. I am tall and have quite expressive features (the ears are quite big). In total, my daughter wore them for half a day. They almost didn't press too much (compared to iron clips, they didn't press at all and the mark went away in minutes, she didn't scratch her ears because of the pain and didn't complain, after 2 or more hours of iron she complained and the mark was one and didn't come off for a long time).
