PLUM 1/80 Japanese National Railways Kiha 20 Series Diesel Railcar (200 Type) Unpainted Assembly Plastic Display Model Kit PP137

The Kiha 20 series diesel railcar, which was active on local lines throughout Japan during the Japanese National Railways era, has been produced as a highly detailed 1/80 scale plastic kit in PLUM's series, including the undercarriage. The body is molded in a color that evokes the familiar reddish-brown color (vermilion No. 5) in the Tokyo metropolitan area. You can enjoy it as is, or repaint it in your favorite color. The windows feature a mechanism that allows you to choose between two open positions, perfect for non-air-conditioned local lines. The undercarriage reproduces the array of equipment, including the DMH17 engine, and the bogies also feature precisely molded mechanisms such as the swing bolster. The headlights and snowplows, which varied by region, can be selected from several options. The easy motorization mechanism, which was popular with the Kominato Railway Kiha 200, is also included in this kit, allowing you to enjoy building even just one car. From a single car to long express train formations recreated by combining KiHa 20s or other types of JNR diesel railcars, enjoy it however you like!
