Plaisir fountain pens have released their Color of the Year 2020, "Teal Green."

Following the releases of "Nova Orange" in 2017, "Bali Citrus" in 2018, and "Black Mist" in 2019, this fourth release for 2020 features a vibrant blue-green color.

The "PLAISIR" fountain pen, which achieved a high-quality and comfortable feel through the blast treatment used in last year's "Black Mist," now features a bluish-green color for its body.

The unique surface reflection achieved through the blast treatment resembles a duck's feather, hence the name "Teal Green," the English name for the color of a duck's feather.

Depending on the lighting, a beautiful contrast of blue-green is created in the body's shadows, and its elegant appearance makes it a perfect accent for everyday use as well as a delightful gift.

*Duck feather color: A slightly dark bluish-green color derived from the feathers on the head of a mallard duck; its name can be found in ancient Japanese poetry, such as the "Manyoshu."
