◎Content◎ Wild Tiger, aka Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, and Barnaby Brooks Jr., have returned to heroism after deciding to retire. A few months after their return, the two are active as heroes in the Second League, still arguing as usual but working hard every day to solve crimes around the city. Meanwhile, Barnaby, seeing the members of the First League, including Sky High, Blue Rose, Dragon Kid, Fire Emblem, Origami Cyclone, and Rock Bison, in action on HERO TV, expresses his desire to return to the First League. Kotetsu tries to persuade Barnaby, but he has mixed feelings. Meanwhile, Apollo Media, now without an owner following the "Maverick Incident," welcomes charismatic businessman Mark Schneider as its new owner and attempts to rebuild the company. As part of this, Schneider returns Barnaby to the first division. However, Barnaby's partner is not Wild Tiger, but Golden Ryan (Ryan Goldsmith), a new hero scouted by Schneider. After seeing the new duo of Barnaby and Golden Ryan in action, Kotetsu vows to do his best in the second division. However, a harsh reality awaits Kotetsu. At the same time, strange incidents begin occurring in Sternbild after the "shadow" of a goddess from ancient legends appears in the town. Three mysterious NEXTs (people with special abilities) are involved in this series of incidents, which are alluded to the goddess legend. Even before the case is resolved, Justice Day, the anniversary when the goddess brought disaster upon the citizens to repent, is fast approaching... What is the true purpose of this incident? The heroes, at the mercy of this mystery, face even greater peril!
