Ti-Tape is designed to be as small and lightweight as possible, making it virtually invisible on a keychain or in your pocket. The titanium housing lasts almost forever, much better than cheap plastic or heavy steel measures. What happens when your tape measure wears out or bends? No problem! The user-replaceable design allows you to replace it so you can start with a new tape ready to use. Think about your average day. Think about how many times it would be useful to hold a tape measure. Titanium is known for its corrosion resistance and has a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It is typically said to have the strength of steel comparable in weight to aluminum. Finish: Tumbled to a uniform stonewashed finish. After polishing, it is custom finished with a hand-crafted splash anodization pattern. Cleaning: ÂTi-Tape titanium housing is extremely durable and will last a long time. However, over time, dirt and finger grease can cause it to look dull and lose its original shine. Simply wipe with a soft cloth with a detergent-based solution such as Windex or 409 to restore the finish to its original shine. Clip Installation Ti-Tape comes with a keychain attachment clip and a split ring that can be attached to a keyring or other similar item. If you want to attach it to Ti-Tape, the process is very simple: carefully remove the screw from the Ti-Tape housing. Note: Insert the wrench straight into the screw socket and press down firmly before turning. This will prevent the screw socket from stripping. Carefully place the keychain attachment clip in the groove of the housing so that the top is flush with the top of the housing.
