This model recreates the full-drive sound of the late '90s and early 2000s without the boost channel. The Full-Drive 1 (FD1) features a JRC4558 op amp, full-size audiophile-grade capacitors, 9V compatibility, 9-18VDC operation, a bulletproof compact steel chassis, top-mounted jacks, true bypass, and a warmer, early '90s Comp-Cut mode than the FD2, a more natural-sounding Flat-Mids mode, and a gorgeous, cut-through-the-mix midrange with more harmonic content and rich sustain in the Vintage (V) mode.
