This desk mat is made from a blend of natural wool and synthetic fiber (polyester). Using 100% wool can cause problems like discoloration due to sunlight, deformation, and pilling due to friction. However, by using as little polyester as possible in our unique blend, we've created a wool desk mat that eliminates these issues. This mat was created with usability in mind. Wool is highly water-resistant and repels water well. It's designed for comfortable operation with an optical mouse. Because the mat contains wool, there may be slight variations in thickness and size between mats. Please note. Because the mat is made from natural wool, grass and leaves may become entangled in the wool. If grass or leaves become tangled, please contact us and we'll replace it with a new mat.
