Popular voice actress Kaede Hondo, known for her leading roles in a string of popular titles, plays Elaina, the witch who travels from country to country. She's known for her role as Maple, who says, "I don't want to get hurt, so I'll max out my defense," and for her role as Sakura Minamoto in "Zombie Land Saga."

Kana Hanazawa, known for her outstanding acting skills and popularity, plays Fran, the "Stardust Witch" and Elaina's mentor. She's also known for her role as Ichika Nakano in "The Quintessential Quintuplets" and Shizuka Kobuchizawa in "A Place Further Than the Universe."

The people Elaina meets on her journey are also joined by a stellar cast, including Tomoyo Kurosawa, who played Kumiko Oumae in "Sound! Euphonium," as Saya, and Yoko Hikasa, who played Tio Klarus in "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest," as Sheila.
