The Tobu Bus Group is a bus operator with routes in northeastern Tokyo, south-central, southwestern, and eastern Saitama Prefecture, northwestern Chiba Prefecture, and the Nikko area of Tochigi Prefecture.
Previously, Tobu Bus referred to the bus business operated by Tobu Railway's Bus Operations Headquarters. However, in April 2002, the Bus Operations Headquarters was spun off to form Tobu Bus Co., Ltd., Tobu Bus Central, Tobu Bus West, and Tobu Bus Nikko.
Tobu Bus Co., Ltd. serves as the umbrella company and handles management duties only, while bus operations are handled by Tobu Bus Central, Tobu Bus West, and Tobu Bus Nikko.
These four operating companies make up the Tobu Bus Group.
