You can customize it to your favorite color by replacing it with the curl cord and ear pads of the separately sold optional parts "HC-CP08" available in 5 colors.
The curl cord uses a highly reliable bayonet connector to prevent accidental disconnection, and the other end uses an L-shaped mini jack so it won't get in the way when operating the mixer.
